Meditation

​Conceived for a ceramic sculpture with  four replicas, this female figure is reminiscent of Moses Kottler’s African nudes.  The broad legs convey a sense of solid monumentality.  In its pleasing fluidity and formal harmony it  hovers  on the borderline  between decorative and fine art.
